Ouch. "EBay's PayPal hit by glitches in online payments". This means Dropcash is not going to be functioning correctly. I am not sure what to do about this right now.

might i suggest getting as far away from PayPal as you possibly can? if i was calling the shots(read: never) PayPal would eat hot death choking on a flaming turd in the seventh circle of hell.
as much as i encourage efforts like dropcash, it pains me to see anybody validating what PayPal does. they are as evil, if not more so, than Walmart. i would die of starvation before i bought myself food using their service.

hpg: what are you talking about?

what are you talking about?
i am talking about PP's incessant quest to collect personal information about you and their entire user base. not only do they require very sensitive information(SSN, bank account #, routing #, credit card account #, birthdate, etc.) from you to use their service, they are constantly requiring more and more to remain with them.
"hi, you've fallen in the love with the ease of our service and we now hold $XXXX of your dollars. to continue using our service 'our policy' requires that you validate your home and work address. oh, you don't want to provide that information, feel free to go ahead and cancel. here's the handy cancellation form, be sure to provide us with your home address in order to cancel."
why? it's 'our policy.' no one can tell you what the policy is, just that it is 'theirs.' play by their rules or don't play. throw in a voracious legal department hell-bent on quashing any dissenting voice or fair competition and you've got the bastard child of big-brother and microsoft on your hands. nevermind that the majority of what they do is quasi-legal and they are mining and storing extrememly personal information. let's not even get into their use of Omniture which collects even more personal information.....
does that qualify as a rant?
